WHY DISAPPOINTMENTS ARE OUR RESPONSIBILITY.

Source;  Bing After a week of rather a disappointing series of events, I decided I needed to blow off some steam. So I carried my extremely burdened heart, a notebook and a pen to put my day sadness into words. I went over to a friend's house and just let the stress of the past few days go. After listening to me, my friend came to a strong conclusion; I gave way too many fucks. So what did he do? He sent me   Mark Manson 's book, 'The Subtle Art of Not Giving A Fuck'. At first I was confused. Why would he send that? DId I really give too many fucks? So my curiosity got the better of me and I read the book. To say that he was not right would be an understatement. I not only learnt that I gave way too many fucks, but also I had to learn to reserve my fucks for what was truly important. DISAPPOINTMENTS; LIFE'S LEMONS.

  Image source;  Bing Disappointments. They are a part of   life,   but that doesn't mean we warmly welcome them into our lives. In fact, if it were up to us, we would throw all disappointing factors in our lives out by the scruffs of their necks. However, that is not that case. We have to deal with our beloved project proposals being deemed as a rubbish, people failing to keep their promises and most of all, hopes about goals and dreams being dashed like no man's business. But disappointment can mean more. It's an indicator that whatever we are doing isn't enough. It may be an indicator that we need to change our game plans. Many great things and people have risen out of disappointments, but that's if we know how to deal with disappointments.  For the next four weeks, we are going to look at how to navigate disappointments, finding happiness in sad times and, most of all, how to make disappointments work for us.
